After arriving at Kathmandu International Airport [TIA], our representative will join you to greet and receive you. He will help you escort to the hotel where you can chill & relax your remaining night in Kathmandu.
The guide will join you after your morning breakfast in the hotel & will take you to roam around in Kathmandu for sightseeing. You will be visiting World Heritage Monuments which includes Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinth, Swoyambunat & Bouddhanath. After all the beautiful sightseeings, the guide will give you all the information before dinner about the next day’s trek.
Wake up, get prepared to catch a mountain flight to the gateway of Mt.Everest – Lukla. Get your tekking started by unloading your trek bag, walk through the oak forests of Phakding with soothing sounds of chirping of birds. Remaining night to be spent in Phakding.
A warm breakfast awaits after a good night sleep. While on the trail, you’ll be getting an insight of Dudhkoshi River. Also, during crossing of the suspension bridge over the confluence of Bhotekoshi and Dudhkoshi, a first glimpse of Everest & other peaks will be gained. The last destination for this day will be Namche Bazaar.
Today is the day to wander & roam around. There will be a lot of exploring & learning at Namche Bazaar or you can hike up to one of the world’s highest hotel, Everest View Hotel to get an amazing view of Mahalangur Himalayan ranges including Everest, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Choaltse and so forth
Today is an acclimatization day. You will spend exploring and learning about the sights and sounds of Namche Bazaar. The
Pack your rucksack as the dawn arrives, to march down the trail ahead.
The section between Namche and Tengboche is fairly easy to walk into serene forests of oaks, pines and magnolia. The most sacred Himalayan monastery, Tengboche Monastery built by the Sherpa community some 300 years ago & The monastery affording a stunning view of Mt. Ama Dablam will be seen. Rest of the night in Tengboche.
The trail from Tengboches first goes downhill pass the quite forests. As you continue to walk further, the vegetation changes as trees give way to shrubs and rocky landscape with occasional walled houses. Rest of the night in Dingboche.
Another day allocated for acclimatization. Trekking guide will be leading you on a short hike to nearby Pangboche valley. You will have plenty of time to observe local Sherpa culture or enjoy yaks plying on the fields. Rest of the night in Dingboche.
The straight forward trail from Dingboche to Lobuche along open lands crossed by fresh streams will take you to beautiful Himalayan views of Everest, Lhotse and Thamserku along this section of trail as well as pay tribute to memorials erected in the name of trekkers and mountaineers who have lost their lives in Everest region. night in Lobuche.
This is the best part of trekking on this trip. The trail is a bit rocky and challenging but that’s kind of the best part. You walk parallel to Khumbu glaciers on your right. The final section involves negotiating your way through big rocks and boulders. Gorakshep is the last village before Everest base camp. Overnight in Gorakshep.
Today, After your sunrise view from Kalapathar, you will taken back to Kathmandu by helicopter from Gorekshep.

The Mountain Altitude sickness - to know about the safety measures to avoid AMS and to understand the basic medical treatments once AMS hits you are most important things for you before trekking in Nepal. The Acute Mountain Sickness is an illness caused due to gain in elevation. Compared to sea level the amount of oxygen in higher altitude is less and the oxygen level goes thinner as trekkers continue to gain higher altitude. High Acute Mountain Sickness Symptoms
The symptoms of AMS are can be several. They vary from person to person. However, general symptoms of AMS are as follows. If you are seen with, any of these symptoms do not delay to identify the illness and go for the quick treatment ASAP.
Severe cases of AMS may lead you to HAPE (High Altitude Pulmonary Edema) or HACE (High Altitude Cerebral Edema). HAPE hits your respiratory system where as HACE hits your Nervous System.

All the Nepal Tours are performed under the strict rules and regulations of the tourism board of the Nepal. We aren't accountable for any change or cancellation of the trip under unavoidable situations like alternate in rules and regulations of the country, government regulations, herbal screw ups, political instability, cancellation of flight, delay, illness or accident, a breakdown of a vehicle, and so on. Any more fees incurred due to such occasions shall be borne by the customer themselves. Consequently, journey insurance is exceptionally encouraged.
If you want to cancel your tour for any reason, you have to write down it to us 15 days before your journey departure date. So, your money is safe and secured which will be used for next visit or Tripcultr will arrange the package accordingly analysing the favorable situations.
The change in the Tour Package Price is imminent incase of drastic change in the foreign currency exchange rates and government rules.
We strongly recommend a complete travel insurance package deal to all our customers. The insurance should cover all the medical fee, personal accident, emergency evacuation (heli rescue), and tour cancellation, loss of equipment and natural calamity, theft of or damage to baggage and private results etc.
The mere reason for the delays and the cancellation of the flight is mainly due to the climatic variability and hard terrain. The unusual blinding fog, heavy rainfall and strong winds could also results in flight delays or sometimes cancellation. The major timings for the chances of flight delay and cancellation occurrences are in winter and rainy season. Another major reason is the technical difficulty because of the lack of instrumental landing system in Tribhuvan International Airport; the domestic flights are often delayed or cancelled. January to the end of February is the bad time for the domestic flights in Nepal.
