Tour Package Itinerary

Day 1
Paris -  Arrival. Transfer to the hotel.

Reception. Transfer to hotel and free time. You will receive information about the start of the circuit during the afternoon, or you can check the informative panels in the hotel reception area.

Day 2
Paris - City tour in Paris.- Transfer to the Montmartre neighbourhood.

A scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of Paris is included. Later, we provide a transfer to the Montmartre dis­trict. This neighbourhood is known for its painters, artists, and its cab­arets… Sit down for lunch and enjoy the magical place. You can choose between Indian, Chinese, French and American cuisines. Return to hotel or free time to enjoy the city.

Day 3
Paris - Transfer to Versailles palace.

 Today we will include a transfer to Versailles, with its immense palace and beautiful gardens. Free afternoon.

Day 4
Paris - Giverny - Rouen - Arromanches - Caen - Monet’s house. Rouen. Beaches where the Normany landings took place.

Early departure from Paris. We travel towards Normandy, stopping in GIVERNY. We include tickets for Monet’s house and its impressive gardens; we talk about Impressionist art, which had its centre in Normandy. After this, ROUEN, the capital of Normandy with its mediaeval streets and cathedral, time for a stroll and lunch. We go on to ARROMANCHES, on its beaches we remember the World War II landings in France. We continue to CAEN. Time for a stroll in the centre.

Day 5
Rennes - Angers - Tours - Villandry - Amboise - Mont S. Michel. French Brittany.

 First thing in the morning we travel to MONT SAINT MICHEL “the Marvel”, time to see the town surrounded by the sea and the Abbey. After this, in Brittany, we travel to SAINT MALO, whose powerful walls defend the city, and where we have time for lunch. In the afternoon a stroll in DINAN, a ‘Breton’ village full of charm. We go on our way to RENNES, the capital of Brittany with its interesting and monumental historic centre.

Day 6
Rennes - Angers - Tours - Villandry - Amboise - Loire region and castles.

 We will leave for ANGERS. Those who want can visit the castle that houses the largest mediaeval tapestry on the Apocalypse. After this we go on to the Loire Valley: TOURS the regional capital on the banks of the Loire River, time for a stroll and lunch. In the afternoon we will see the VILLANDRY PALACE, famous for its gardens and flowers. Tickets to the garden are included in the price. Continuation to AMBOISE, a city with a very interesting mediaeval quarter. Dinner and accommodation included. NB: Sometimes the accommodation may be offered in the city of Tours.

Day 7
Amboise - Chenonceau - Chambord - Argenton - Limoges - Castles of Loire.

We will see the Loire region in a little more depth. First a stroll in Amboise, to the castle of Clos Luce where Leonardo da Vinci spent his last 3 years before his death. Then, we include tickets to the CASTLE of CHENONCEAU, in the shape of a bridge over the river. We will see CHAMBORD, the largest of the castles of the Loire (ticket to the park included). We will then travel to the centre of France. A stop for a coffee in ARGENTON SUR CREUSE, a small mediaeval town on the banks of the river Creuse. We continue to LIMOGES, where we recommend a stroll in the centre to see its cathedral.

Day 8
Limoges - Collonge la Rouge - Padriac - Rocamadour - Limoges visit. Padirac caves. Rocamadour mediaeval village. Dinner included.

 LIMOGES, we include a brief visit with the local guide of the city, its cathedral, its old station and the Porcelain Museum (entrance included) where one of the most beautiful porcelain collections of the world is found. We continue to COLLONGE LA ROUGE, a very picturesque village built in Redstone on the Way of St James. Time for lunch. After lunch we see the impressive PADIRAC caves and take a boat trip 75 metres underground (tickets included with the boat trip on the underground river). ROCAMADOUR, a beautiful mediaeval village with an important sanctuary “hung” on a hillside; we suggest a stroll down the via crucis and the climb back up by lift. Dinner included. NB: The caves may be closed in November or due to the weather conditions.

Day 9
Rocamadour - Rogue Gageac - Beynac Castle - Sarlet - St. Emilion - Bordeaux -  Dordogne region. Beynac and Sarlat. French wine experience.

 We are now in the region of the Dordogne, another of the great historic rivers of central France. Few regions contain so many charming villages and so much unforgettable scenery. A stroll around LA ROQUE GAGEAC, a small village full of flowers on the banks of the Dordogne. In BEYNAC we see a mediaeval castle overhanging the river (tickets included). SARLAT, a city listed as Heritage of mankind, maintains an incredibly well-preserved Renaissance historic centre, time for a stroll and lunch. After lunch we travel to ST. EMILION, in the centre of the Bordeaux wine producing region. Time for a stroll. We include a visit to an ancient wine establishment, with tasting included. BORDEAUX, arrival at the end of the afternoon. Free time to stroll around the city on the Garonne river.

Day 10
Bordeaux - Lourdes - city tour of Bordeaux. Lourdes. Dinner included.

 In the morning, we include a two-hour tour of BORDEAUX with a local guide, visiting its centre and the Port of the Moon, which was declared Heritage of Mankind. The eleventh-century cathedral, the grand Theatre of Bordeaux, the monument to the Girondins and the Place Royale all stand out. Free time after the tour. After lunch, we go on our way towards the Pyrenees. Arrival in LOURDESin mid-afternoon and time to see the sanctuary (we suggest attending the candle procession).Dinner included.

Day 11
Lourdes - Saint Bertrand - Carcasonne - Andorra

 Mediaeval villages of S. Bertrand or Carcassonne.Travelling parallel to the Pyrenees, we stop in SAINT BERTRAND, a mediaeval village hanging on the mountainside, dominated by its great cathedral. Time for a stroll before going on to CARCASSONNE, a city surrounded by the most beautiful walls in Europe. We go on to the Pyrenees on a trip between often snow-capped summits, and into the small country of ANDORRA. Dinner included.

Day 12
Andorra - Monsterrat - Barcelona - Catalonia region. Montserrat Monastery. Rack train climb.

Free time in ANDORRA to shop or stroll. After lunch, we go into Catalonia. Mountain countryside leads us to the impressive site of the Montserrat Monastery, which we climb through spectacular scenery on the rack train (rack train climb included). After a time to visit the sanctuary, we go on to BARCELONA, arrival at the end of the afternoon.

Day 13
Barcelona - Peniscola - Valencia - Madrid - Barcelona city tour. “Spanish Village” visit and evening transfer to Las Ramblas district.

Today we will get to know Barcelona, an impressive city right on the Medi­terranean Sea. Our visit includes an informative city tour with a local expert (note: If the group has fewer than fifteen people, explanations can be given by our guide.) We also visit the city’s historic central area with its Gothic neigh­bourhood dating back to the Middle Ages. We will visit the area where the Olympic Games took place. It will be possible to see and photograph La Sagrada Fa­milia basilica; the masterpiece designed by the architect Gaudí. Subsequently, we include the entry ticket to “Poble Espanyol” (meaning “Spanish Village”). This open air architectural museum is situated in one of the most emblematic areas of Barcelona. Be delighted by the best Spanish craftsmanship and discover the architectural styles, traditions and folklore of the different communities in Spain. Free time to explore the city on your own. In the evening we provide transfer to Las Ramblas and Plaza Cata­lunya area, where you can select from a great variety of restaurants (including Indian, Chinese, Halal, International and regional Spanish cuisine). Return to hotel.

Day 14
Madrid - Peniscola, a beautiful walled town combined with a castle on the sea. Discover Valencia’s City of Arts and Sciences.

We travel south following the Mediterranean. A stop in PEÑÍSCOLA, a small walled mediaeval town surrounded by the sea. Time for a stroll. We continue to VALENCIA, we will have time for lunch in its historic centre, followed by a coach tour of the avant-garde City of Arts and Sciences designed by the architect Calatrava. Continuation to Madrid, arrival at the end of the day. We include transportation to Plaza Mayor where we will have some wine at some typical taverns. Note: If the number of travellers from Valencia to Madrid is very small, the trip may be done by high-speed train.

Day 15
Madrid - Madrid city tour. Stroll through the Retiro Park. Visit to the Plaza de Toros de las Ventas bullring. Night transfer

The day starts about 08.30 hrs with a comprehensive tour through the centre of Madrid including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor. Visit to Retiro Park, an oasis in the city centre, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace. Admission to Las Ventas Bullring included. This is one of the most famous bullrings in the world where we will learn about the tradition of “corridas” in the Bullfighting Museum. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon. At sunset we provide a transfer to Plaza de Oriente, opposite the Royal Palace, an elegant and bustling area with many restaurants serving different exquisite cuisines (Indian, Middle Eastern, Muslim, Spanish, International) in which to enjoy a pleasant dinner. Return to hotel.

SERVICES 

The services are provided by the associates of Tripcultr. Tripcultr is not responsible for the consequences or circumstances arising from services that are not provided by our company (flight disruptions, loss or damage of luggage on flights, problems at borders/customs or those related to personal documentation, delay in tours and activities beyond our control etc.).

CANCELLATIONS 

The customer has to send a mail to support@tripcultr.com to cancel the booking. Once a booking is successfully cancelled you will receive a mail confirmation. The customer may cancel the requested or booked services at any time, whereby they are entitled to a refund for the paid amount, but must compensate the agency, except in cases of force majeure, as per the following: The processing costs plus the cancellation cost, if these have been incurred, once the journey has been confirmed by Tripcultr and regardless of the departure date.

No shows at the start of the trip, without prior cancellation, will not be entitled to any refund (except force majeure cases, which will be examined on a case by case basis).

  • In the event that the cancellation prior to the trip is produced by justified and demonstrable cases of force majeure, only the costs of processing and services that cannot be cancelled will be charged, as well as the costs that must be absorbed by other suppliers (transfer on arrival, hotel in first city stay in the absence of prior notice, etc.). We recommend buying an insurance policy with the company of your choice, covering the cancellation costs in all cases.
  • In the event that, during the tour, a customer has to cancel their tour for reasons of force majeure, they will be entitled to a refund proportionally to the paid amount / time not used. The processing fees and expenses incurred will be charged in all cases. In order to calculate this amount, only the services provided by Tripcultr and its associates will be taken into account.

CHANGES 

Changes made to a confirmed booking prior to the start of a trip are subject to a penalty equivalent to the processing fees that are listed in the cancellation section.

NON-ADMITTANCE OF PASSENGERS 

Tripcultr reserves the right to suspend any tour for passengers whose physical and/or mental conditions make their participation in it very difficult or dangerous to themselves or others.

Tripcultr likewise reserves the right to exclude passengers who significantly disrupt the smooth-running of the trip.

Tripcultr cannot assume any responsibility in relation to the difficulty or impossibility that the said passenger may encounter in undertaking the activities planned for the tour package, nor can Tripcultr assume any responsibility for providing assistance for their continuation of the trip.

GUARANTEED DEPARTURES 

This tour is a guaranteed departure, although in extremely limited cases, it could transpire that Tripcultr is unable to operate a given departure. In these cases Tripcultr will provide the same trip on an earlier or later date than the one chosen or another trip with similar features vis-à-vis duration and route, and offer, by way of compensation, a reduction of 50% on the value of the aforementioned journey. Cancellations of guaranteed departures may arise (without compensation or liability on behalf of Tripcultr) in cases of exceptional unforeseen circumstances - among others - wartime conflicts, terrorist attacks, natural disasters, epidemics and economic circumstances that generate a very significant drop in the expected sales.

EMERGENCY TELEPHONE 

In the event that an emergency arises during the tour, the passenger should inform as soon as possible the accompanying tour guide. Furthermore, Tripcultr provides a 24 hour emergency telephone service according to the destination country for urgent and important matters, which passengers can use, and details can be found on their voucher. Non urgent matters will not be dealt with on these calls, and nor will they respond to questions that do not relate to emergencies enroute (reservations, rates, questions about availability, etc.).

TRAVEL INSURANCE 

Tripcultr advises all its clients to take out additional insurance with additional cover than the one included in our selected tours.

COMPLAINTS 

In the event of any breach of the contracted services, Tripcultr requests all clients’ to mail us on support@tripcultr.com.

Tripcultr guarantees that it will respond to all written complaints that are received within 40 days following the date that the trip is completed. Tripcultr will not deal with complaints that are received after the specified date, given the difficulty of making appropriate inquiries after a long period of time has elapsed.

REFUND:

The Company reserves the right to determine the quantum of refund payable in case of cancellation or amendment of a Tour due to Force Majeure or Vis Majeure. Such refund would be based on various factors like the number of participants, the Cancellation Policies of suppliers like hoteliers, airlines, coach operators, etc. and the decision of the Company on the quantum of refund shall be final. Even for payments made in foreign currency with or without part payment in Indian rupees, the said refund shall be made only in Indian Rupees at the prevailing buying rate of exchange on the date of refund as per existing Rules & Regulations without interest.

Refunds (if any) for amendments and / or cancellations will be made directly to Clients by the Company after deducting applicable GST. In case of refund in foreign currency component, the said refund shall be made in INR only at the prevailing buying rate on the date of refund as per existing statutes, rules and regulations. It would take at least 60 days depending upon the refund policy of suppliers to process such refunds.

In case of the Company exercising its discretionary rights to alter, amend or cancel any Tour or tour advertised, the Client who has booked for such Tour can exercise the option:

  • To continue with the Tour as altered or amended; or
  • To accept any alternative Tour, which the Company may offer; or
  • To unconditionally accept the return of the tour cost charges (after deduction of the actual expenses incurred by us on your booking like visa, insurance premium, ticket voiding charges, POE charges and other overheads as applicable from case to case) in full and final settlement and the Company shall not be liable / responsible to pay the Client, compensation, consequential loss, damages, additional expenses or interest charges over and above as is computed by the Company as per these Terms & Conditions. The Client will not be entitled to make any grievance thereafter in respect of the same.

It is clearly understood that there shall be no refund or compensation whatsoever for unutilized services.

As a consequence of the above rule, please note that no refund will be admissible in the following cases (amongst others)


(i) If you fail to join the tour or decide to leave the tour for any reasons whatsoever.

(ii) If you fail to or are unable to utilize any of the services on the tour due to any reason whatsoever.

(iii) If you terminate your participation in the tour due to any reason.

(iv) In the case of multi-country package tour wherein there may be requirement for Visa of multiple jurisdictions, there will be no refund if Visa is rejected or delayed.

Best time to Visit:

The best time to travel in Spain is spring and fall as a result of that's once goodweather happens. The months of Apr, May, June, September, and Oct are excellent for travel. Summer is kind of hot, especially in inland cities like Seville, Cordoba, and Madrid.

The best time to visit Paris  is from April to June and October to early November when the weather is mild and enjoyable and the tourist crowds are smaller than summer.
