Day 1
Paris

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Night-time transfer to the Montmartre neighbourhood. Funicular ride Welcome to Paris! Upon arriving at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travellers. In the evening, we provide a transfer to the Montmartre dis­trict. This neighbourhood is known for its painters, artists, and its cab­arets. Choose from one of the many restaurants and sit down to a relaxing dinner. We ascend to the top of the hill by funicular to admire the spectacular views of Paris. After this we will return to hotel.

Day 2
Paris

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour in Paris. Climb to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. Boat ride along the Seine. Evening transfer. Today we take a guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of Paris. We end the visit at the Eiffel Tower. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket admission included) . End your visit with a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy an afternoon of leisure to explore and relax! At sunset enjoy dinner in the Latin Quarter, a very picturesque historic area where a wide variety of international cuisines await you. We will then return to hotel. Note: Sometimes queues to climb the Eiffel Tower are long. For organizational reasons, if deemed appropriate, the climb can be made at a different time of the day (of Monday).

Day 3
Paris

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Time at leisure. We will start the day by going to the centre of Paris, to the area of the Louvre Museum. Enjoy some leisure time to explore. If you wish, we can accompany you to Benlux, one of the most complete and best-known perfumeries in Paris. Note: For those who are interested, an optional excursion to Disneyland Paris is available.

Day 4
Paris - Noyers - Beaune - Lyon

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Vineyards in Beaune and Bourgogne region. Today we travel to the centre of France, to the Bourgogne region, famous for its wines. Making a stop in NOYERS, a small medieval town listed amongst the prettiest places in France. After this we will visit BEAUNE, located in the centre of the Bourgogne region, with its streets full of flowers, hospice and wine museum all points of interest. Time for lunch. Continuing on, we will arrive to LYON in the mid-afternoon, the capital of Roman Gallia on the banks of the Rhône (its historic centre has been declared a World Heritage site). Enjoy some leisure time to walk around.

Day 5
Lyon - Geneva - Zurich

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Swiss Landscapes. Centre of Geneva Next, we have a beautiful stage of our journey as we travel to Switzerland. In GENEVA, with our guide, we will go to the Palais des Nations (the United Nations headquarters in Europe) and then to the beautiful Jardin Anglais (English Garden) with its famous flower clock. You can also admire the Jet d’Eau, the tallest fountain in Europe. After lunch, we will continue through Switzerland passing the beautiful Leman Lake (Lake Geneva) and Neuchatel Lake. We will arrive to ZURICH in the late afternoon. Note: Depending on the number of travellers from Geneva to Zürich, this trip might be done by train.

Day 6
Zurich - Rapperswil - Zurich

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Boat trip across Zurich lake. Journey by train. We start the day with a stroll in the most populated city of Switzerland, Zurich, the financial and cultural capital of the country. Zurich has twice been declared the city with the best quality of life in the world. After this we will board a boat for a trip on Zurich lake, this will last about two hours. The boat makes brief stops, allowing us to admire the villages along the way. We get off in RAPPERSWIL, a small and highly picturesque village overlooked by its medieval castle. We return to Zurich by train and will see the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss Railways. Enjoy an evening in the historic centre next to the lake, here you can dine at one of the many restaurants offering a wide range of different cuisines.

Day 7
Zurich - Grindelwald - Lucerne - Zurich

TODAY´S HIGHLIGHTS: Admire the fantastic landscapes. Cable car included to Grindenwald first. Lunch included. Today´s journey has beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes. Breathtaking scenery in the region of Interlaken. We will stop in GRINDELWALD where we will have time for a coffee before taking the cable car up to mountain. We will walk along the winding path which will lead us to the "footbridge over the empty". Dare to walk along the bridge amongst the fantastic scenery enjoying glaciers all around us. We will take lunch up the mountain (included) before heading back down. We continue to LUCERNE, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. In the evening we have time to stroll around, enjoying the city and taking dinner before we return to the hotel in Zurich.

Day 8
Zurich - Burglen - Morcote - Milan

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: We will know the town of William Tell. Pictoresque villages as Morcote. Shores of Como. In the morning we will travel to BURGLEN, the tiny village where William Tell was born, we will visit the chapel of the XVI century with paintings illustrating his life. Afterwards continue to the enchanting little town of MORCOTE, with its houses made of stone and covered with flowers. Next, we enter Italy and make a stop in Como, on the shores of a lake. The city highlights a Gothic Cathedral. On to MILAN, where our guide will take you to the impressive Duomo Square. Time for dinner at one of the restaurants offering a wide range of international cuisines. After dinner, transfer back to the hotel.

Day 9
Milan - Pisa - Rome

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Coast of Liguria, Leaning Tower of Pisa.Today we continue our journey towards PISA. On a little tourist train we will travel to the Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), where there will be time to admire one of the most alluring and beautiful art complexes in Italy, including the well known Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then, we continue to Rome, arriving at the end of the afternoon.

Day 10
Rome

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Rome. Roman Coliseum and Vatican City. Evening transfer.In the morning, we will have a tour of the city, which will be a great introduction to “The Eternal city”. We enter the tiny state of the Vatican. The Vatican City is a principal centre of Christianity in the world. You will be able to visit St. Peter’s Basilica. We will also enter the Roman Colosseum (admission price included), the principal symbol of Rome. This impressive con­struction dates back 2,000 years and will transport us in time so that we can learn about ancient society in the Roman Empire. In the evening we will transfer you to the Via Cavour area, where you will find many interna­tional restaurants to enjoy your dinner at. After dinner return to the hotel.

Day 11
Rome - Madrid

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Flight Rome – Madrid. Evening transfer to the Gran Via District.After breakfast a transfer takes you to the airport to take your flight at around 11.00hrs to Madrid. Upon arrival we shall be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Towards the end of the day, we provide transfer to the Egyptian Debod temple, Plaza de Es­paña and Gran Via; a vibrant district where you can dine at your preferred restaurant: Indian, Chinese, Spanish and Middle Eastern are some of the options.

Day 12
Madrid

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Madrid city tour. Stroll through the Retiro Park. Visit to the Plaza de Toros de las Ventas bullring. Night transfer.The morning starts with a comprehensive tour through the centre of Madrid including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor. We then visit to Retiro Park, an oasis in the city centre, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace. A visit to Las Ventas Bullring (admission included) is next, this is one of the most famous bullrings in the world where we will learn about the tradition of “corridas” in the Bullfighting Museum. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure. At sunset we provide a transfer to Plaza de Oriente, opposite the Royal Palace, an elegant and bustling area with many restaurants serving different cuisines such as local Spanish food, international, and Chinese. Enjoy a pleasant dinner of your choice, then return to hotel together.

Day 13
Madrid - Zaragoza - Poblet - Montserrat - Barcelona

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Monastery of Poblet, rack train to Montserrat. In the morning we leave for Aragón over the lands of Castile. In ZARAGOZA we stop briefly to see the Pilar Basilica. We continue to the Monastery of Poblet, surrounded by its walls in a beautiful site that is one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in the world (entrance and guided tour included) . We then proceed to the Monastery of Montserrat where you will go up the mountain on a rack train to see its fantastic scenery. Following this we will continue to BARCELONA, arriving in the late- afternoon. Note: In the winter months, from November to March, due to the shorter days, we will not visit the Monastery of Poblet in order to reach Montserrat in the daylight.

Day 14
Barcelona

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Barcelona city tour. “Spanish Village” visit and evening transfers to Las Ramblas district. Today we will explore Barcelona, an impressive city right on the Medi­terranean Sea. Starting with an informative city tour with a local expert (note: If the group has fewer than fifteen people, explanations can be given by our guide.) We also visit the city’s historic central area with its Gothic neigh­bourhood dating back to the Middle Ages. We will visit the area where the Olympic Games took place. We will get the chance to see La Sagrada Fa­milia Basilica; the masterpiece designed by the architect Gaudí. Following this, we include the entry ticket to visit ‘Poble Espanyol’ (meaning ‘Spanish Village’). This open-air architectural museum is situated in one of the most emblematic areas of Barcelona. Enjoy Spanish craftsmanship and discover the architectural styles, traditions and folklore of the different communities in Spain. Take some free time to explore the city on your own. In the evening we provide transfers to Las Ramblas and Plaza Cata­lunya area for dinner, where you can select from a great variety of restaurants. Return to hotel.

Terms & Conditions

SERVICES 

The services are provided by the associates of Tripcultr. Tripcultr is not responsible for the consequences or circumstances arising from services that are not provided by our company (flight disruptions, loss or damage of luggage on flights, problems at borders/customs or those related to personal documentation, delay in tours and activities beyond our control etc.).

CANCELLATIONS 

The customer has to send a mail to support@tripcultr.com to cancel the booking. Once a booking is successfully cancelled you will receive a mail confirmation. The customer may cancel the requested or booked services at any time, whereby they are entitled to a refund for the paid amount, but must compensate the agency, except in cases of force majeure, as per the following: The processing costs plus the cancellation cost, if these have been incurred, once the journey has been confirmed by Tripcultr and regardless of the departure date.

No shows at the start of the trip, without prior cancellation, will not be entitled to any refund (except force majeure cases, which will be examined on a case by case basis).

  • In the event that the cancellation prior to the trip is produced by justified and demonstrable cases of force majeure, only the costs of processing and services that cannot be cancelled will be charged, as well as the costs that must be absorbed by other suppliers (transfer on arrival, hotel in first city stay in the absence of prior notice, etc.). We recommend buying an insurance policy with the company of your choice, covering the cancellation costs in all cases.
  • In the event that, during the tour, a customer has to cancel their tour for reasons of force majeure, they will be entitled to a refund proportionally to the paid amount / time not used. The processing fees and expenses incurred will be charged in all cases. In order to calculate this amount, only the services provided by Tripcultr and its associates will be taken into account.

CHANGES 

Changes made to a confirmed booking prior to the start of a trip are subject to a penalty equivalent to the processing fees that are listed in the cancellation section.

NON-ADMITTANCE OF PASSENGERS 

Tripcultr reserves the right to suspend any tour for passengers whose physical and/or mental conditions make their participation in it very difficult or dangerous to themselves or others.

Tripcultr likewise reserves the right to exclude passengers who significantly disrupt the smooth-running of the trip.

Tripcultr cannot assume any responsibility in relation to the difficulty or impossibility that the said passenger may encounter in undertaking the activities planned for the tour package, nor can Tripcultr assume any responsibility for providing assistance for their continuation of the trip.

GUARANTEED DEPARTURES 

This tour is a guaranteed departure, although in extremely limited cases, it could transpire that Tripcultr is unable to operate a given departure. In these cases Tripcultr will provide the same trip on an earlier or later date than the one chosen or another trip with similar features vis-à-vis duration and route, and offer, by way of compensation, a reduction of 50% on the value of the aforementioned journey. Cancellations of guaranteed departures may arise (without compensation or liability on behalf of Tripcultr) in cases of exceptional unforeseen circumstances - among others - wartime conflicts, terrorist attacks, natural disasters, epidemics and economic circumstances that generate a very significant drop in the expected sales.

EMERGENCY TELEPHONE 

In the event that an emergency arises during the tour, the passenger should inform as soon as possible the accompanying tour guide. Furthermore, Tripcultr provides a 24 hour emergency telephone service according to the destination country for urgent and important matters, which passengers can use, and details can be found on their voucher. Non urgent matters will not be dealt with on these calls, and nor will they respond to questions that do not relate to emergencies enroute (reservations, rates, questions about availability, etc.).

TRAVEL INSURANCE 

Tripcultr advises all its clients to take out additional insurance with additional cover than the one included in our selected tours.

COMPLAINTS 

In the event of any breach of the contracted services, Tripcultr requests all clients’ to mail us on support@tripcultr.com.

Tripcultr guarantees that it will respond to all written complaints that are received within 40 days following the date that the trip is completed. Tripcultr will not deal with complaints that are received after the specified date, given the difficulty of making appropriate inquiries after a long period of time has elapsed.

REFUND:

The Company reserves the right to determine the quantum of refund payable in case of cancellation or amendment of a Tour due to Force Majeure or Vis Majeure. Such refund would be based on various factors like the number of participants, the Cancellation Policies of suppliers like hoteliers, airlines, coach operators, etc. and the decision of the Company on the quantum of refund shall be final. Even for payments made in foreign currency with or without part payment in Indian rupees, the said refund shall be made only in Indian Rupees at the prevailing buying rate of exchange on the date of refund as per existing Rules & Regulations without interest.

Refunds (if any) for amendments and / or cancellations will be made directly to Clients by the Company after deducting applicable GST. In case of refund in foreign currency component, the said refund shall be made in INR only at the prevailing buying rate on the date of refund as per existing statutes, rules and regulations. It would take at least 60 days depending upon the refund policy of suppliers to process such refunds.

In case of the Company exercising its discretionary rights to alter, amend or cancel any Tour or tour advertised, the Client who has booked for such Tour can exercise the option:

  • To continue with the Tour as altered or amended; or
  • To accept any alternative Tour, which the Company may offer; or
  • To unconditionally accept the return of the tour cost charges (after deduction of the actual expenses incurred by us on your booking like visa, insurance premium, ticket voiding charges, POE charges and other overheads as applicable from case to case) in full and final settlement and the Company shall not be liable / responsible to pay the Client, compensation, consequential loss, damages, additional expenses or interest charges over and above as is computed by the Company as per these Terms & Conditions. The Client will not be entitled to make any grievance thereafter in respect of the same.

It is clearly understood that there shall be no refund or compensation whatsoever for unutilized services.

As a consequence of the above rule, please note that no refund will be admissible in the following cases (amongst others)


(i) If you fail to join the tour or decide to leave the tour for any reasons whatsoever.

(ii) If you fail to or are unable to utilize any of the services on the tour due to any reason whatsoever.

(iii) If you terminate your participation in the tour due to any reason.

(iv) In the case of multi-country package tour wherein there may be requirement for Visa of multiple jurisdictions, there will be no refund if Visa is rejected or delayed.
